Many Samsung Omnia users are not sure where to put their music or tones for their ring tones and sms tones. This is just a small guide for all of you.
Ring Tones
Copy and paste your ring tones or music to My Documents/My Ringtones folder. You will be able to select the music or tones at the Sounds and Notifications setup page.
To save space on your memory, you can also stored it in My Storage which is the 8 or 16GB card.
Create a folder called My Ringtones under My Storage. Put all your MP3 songs in My Storage/My Ringtones.
SMS Tones
Copy and paste your SMS tones or music to Windows folder. The music or tones must be stored in the Windows folder and not any sub folder within it.
It can also be placed in the root directory in "My Storage" or "Storage Card". Placing SMS Tones in Windows Folder will decrease your Device Memory.
