The 3G chipset allow us to surf the internet and have fast Data Transfer using the 3G Network in Singapore and Asia. Singtel users can even made use of the HSDPA network to speed up their data transfer rate.
TouchWiz
TouchWiz really shines, though, is with the Today screen's widget
bar. It's brilliant, it's useful, and we're going to miss it on any
phone that doesn't have it or something like it. A collapsible bar on the left side of the display presents you
with a pretty wide selection of information and control widgets
that can be dragged onto the background and placed wherever you choose.
There's a pretty good variety of widgets available , but
we'd love to see Samsung release new ones or allow developers to design the widgets themself. The cons of this is that you cannot add widgets to it. We are looking forward to the day when Samsung will allow users to add Widgets themself.
Samsung Keyboard
We wish we had the same love for the soft keyboards. Samsung provides
its own input methods to override Windows Mobile's and it is also a QWERTY keyboard .There are no complaints there as the default ones have to go. The keys on the
Windows QWERTY were too narrow to be reliable and consistently pressed
accurately and there was no pop-up to indicate what key was actually
being pressed until we'd already pressed it. Samsung Keyboard key will light up when you pressed on it so you know what you are pressing. Furthermore, the keys are bigger than the Window default keyboard.
Cons
The cons are the Samsung Omnia have no stylus storage space, poor readability under direct sunlight, odd resolution and no hot swapping.
Conclusion
Samsung Omnia i900 is still a much more powerful phone than its counterparts like HTC Diamond and Apple iPhone due to its powerful software, slim look design, 5MP Camera and others. All phone has its advantages and disadvantages in the market. There is no perfect phone in the current mobile market.
