Opera Mobile 9.7 Beta + Widgets

Opera Mobile 9.7 Beta is now available for Window Mobile Phones and other Smart Phones also. It is in Beta Version and therefore you should expect some bugs. This Opera Mobile 9.7 Beta 1 will co exist with your Opera Mobile 9.5 since it is cook into your ROM.

Installation
It is a cab file and therefore you can put it on your Omnia. Go to your Omnia File Explorer and click on the cab file and it will start to install. I recommend you to install to My Storage.
It can co exist with your current Opera Mobile 9.5 which is cooked into your ROM.

Disconnect Omnia Internet Connection

Most Omnia users forget to disconnect their Internet Connection after using it. Even though, you have close the Internet Explorer, Opera or Messenger, the Internet Connection is still open. You will need to go to the Data Call Manager to Disconnect the Internet.

Go to Menu > Settings > Data Call Manager

Click on Disconnect on the Internet. It will disconnect your Internet Connection from the 3G or 3.5G or HSDPA. If you do not disconnect the Internet, it will stay connected to the network and the timer will continue to run unless you disconnect it or reset your Omnia.

Opera Browser Version

Samsung Omnia default Internet Browser is Opera Mobile. It is a popular browser choice for many mobile phone including Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG and others. You can check the version and build of your Opera by typing a command in the address bar.
Type 'opera:about' in the address bar. It will display the version and build of Opera software and other information about the Opera Software.

Flash Lite 2.1 for Samsung Omnia

The Flash Lite 2.1 is  available to end users who want to play back Flash Lite content and applications on Windows Mobile 5.0 devices. In addition, it also works on the Window Mobile 6.1. Some Pocket PC are not shipped with this software install on it but you can install it yourself. I have installed it on my Samsung Omnia so that I can view flash enabled website on my Omnia browser.
