Many users wanted to use Bluetooth to transfer files to their 8GB/16GB My Storage memory instead of the Phone Memory. But the truth is when sending/beaming a file by bluetooth to the Omnia, it will always go to the phone memory in My Documents rather than the My Storage or the Storage Card Memory. There is no way to change this the fact.
I have found a way to get round it so that you can save your Bluetooth File to the My Storage(8GB/6GB) or the Storage Card Location. You need to add the Bluetooth Device that you are sending from into your Bluetooth Devices.
1. Go to Start > settings > connections > wireless manager > menu> bluetooth settings
2. In the Devices Tab, click Add New Device and it will start to look for Bluetooth Devices within the range.
3. Add the Bluetooth Device when you have found it. It will prompt you for passcode on your Omnia and the other bluetooth device. Key in the same passcode to set up the partnership on both devices.
4. Once you have set up the partnership, tap on the device name in the list and tick the OBEX transfer and Save it.
Now when you go to File Explorer and from my device, select Bluetooth FTP. Then go to Menu > Refresh and once this is done, the paired device's name will appear and when you tap on it you can go into it by Bluetooth and Explore, Cut, Copy and Delete items from the other handsets memory. As you can copy items as you would if you were moving files normally on the handset, you can actually paste it to the My Storage memory, therefore bypassing the whole "can't Bluetooth to My Storage Memory or Storage Card issues.
The FTP option in the Bluetooth options is for if the handset it is paired with also has the capability to enter the i900's memory (like all Samsung handsets can). In here you can set which folders the other handset has access to, so the can get to your entire device if you set it to my device, or you can specify certain folders if you don't want them snooping about!
Post will be updated this weekend again.
