You need to obtain the Gingerbread Base Blueprints in order to build the Gingerbread Base. The Blueprints are dropped by the Ornament Mouse and Christmas Tree Mouse in the Festive Comet and reveal the recipe for creating the Gingerbread Base.
I have used PartyBot Mouse Trap with Magma Base and using SuperBrie Cheese as my bait to catch the Ornament Mouse with special loot.
