It need to be crafted with the proper items obtained. It is more powerful than the Net Cannon and will increase your chances of catching the Hydro Mouse.

This is a loot item and cannot be purchase. You need to catch the Elder Mouse at the Cape Clawed and they are know to drop the loot of Ancient Spear. Please use Shell Cheese as no other cheese will attract it to the trap.

Ancient Spear Launcher Blueprints
These blueprints can be purchased at the General Store in Cape Clawed for 160,000 gold.
Hunters need to have 12 million points in order to build this trap.
Launcher Parts
You will need to have either the Harpoon Gun or the Net Cannon Trap. Use the Hunter' Hammer in Crafting to smash the trap to obtain the Launcher Parts
